Chief Engineer Pro provides educational and professional-development resources and software tools for marine engineers. This includes our website, our member portal, downloadable products and courses, and our apps, eORB (electronic Oil Record Book) and Fuel CEP. Our content and tools are for informational and professional-support purposes.
Every paid Chief Engineer Pro file and app is covered by our Licence. Where the Licence and these Terms say different things about a paid file or app, the Licence is the one that governs.
A licence to use eORB, Fuel CEP, or any paid product is granted to one named user, and that user is you. It is not transferable.
You agree not to share, resell, sublicense, or publish your license key or account access, and not to copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer our apps. If you deliberately share, post, or resell what you bought, we may end your access to it. This does not remove any refund or consumer right given to you by law or by our published Refund Policy.
All materials in our website, apps, and products, including text, graphics, downloads, software, and digital products, are the property of Chief Engineer Pro and are protected by copyright and other laws.
Purchased products are for your personal use only and may not be redistributed, resold, copied, or shared without our written permission.
Prices are shown in Philippine Pesos unless stated otherwise. Payments are handled by our payment partners (PayMongo and Gumroad). Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Our apps and tools are aids to help you work: they are decision-support and record-keeping helpers, not a replacement for official procedures. You remain responsible for keeping your official records and for following all applicable maritime rules and your company's procedures (for example, MARPOL and flag-state requirements for oil record books). Always confirm results against the official requirements that apply to your vessel.
Our products support your learning and career, but we do not promise any specific result, promotion, salary, or exam outcome. Please see our Disclaimer.
While every effort is made to provide accurate and useful information and tools, Chief Engineer Pro is not responsible for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from the use of our website, apps, or products. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product involved.
Your use of our products is also covered by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.
The eORB app keeps an activity record: what you do in the app, errors, entry codes and dates, and tank figures, with your license email. It is sent to us when you are online, so we can support you and find faults early. By using eORB you agree to this. It never includes the crew names, remarks, signatures or photos in your Oil Record Book. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is recorded.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of our website, apps, or products after a change means you accept the current terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
